3. Introduced resources for Verbal section
First of all, I would like to point out that for a good score in this section, you must have both a high level of vocabulary knowledge and a high level of comprehension. It is true that words do not play a major role, but they do play an important role in your success. But words alone do not guarantee your high score, and this must be accompanied by understanding the above. Also, without having high vocabulary knowledge, comprehension can not be very high. If you see an unfamiliar word in every line of text, it will surely negatively affect your understanding of it. Now to start, my own suggestion is that from the moment you start preparing for the GRE exam, continue until the day of the learning exam and the vocabulary course! It is not different from traditional Leitner software or box, whichever is more compatible with your mood!
Tip 1: There are a number of prerequisites for preparing for this exam, which in fact is not part of the preparation for this exam, and in all the explanations, therefore, you know this much! Book 504 and Essential Words for TOEFL are a good place to start. Of course, many children read this while preparing for TOEFL! Regarding the preparation of GRE, no more will be said about this, if someone who does not know the word so well will surely copy 1100 after seeing the book!
Tip 2: If you have a lot of time from now until your exam, or you are a student and you have a lot of time until your graduation and GRE exam, try to read university books in the main language. In any case, it will have a great impact on your comprehension.
1.3.Vocabulary sources:
To read the word, try not to read from a ready flash card. Prepare the flash card yourself. When you read from a book, you see the words in the sentence and it makes the words stick better in your mind! If you are going to read a flash card, read the text of the book first and then use the flash card for the course. Try to see the use of words in different sentences so that you can use the words in your writing. However, I strongly recommend that you do not go for ready-made Enki files and dictionaries or other software. Try to prepare these sources, words, meanings and examples and enter them in the software or write them on a piece of paper and review them according to the Leitner method. This may be a little more time-consuming, but it does make it easier for words to fit in your mind and become active. Certainly, you are more comfortable with the meanings and examples you write yourself than the examples and experiences of other people. Read this book first and in the next step you can use the following word lists according to your time.
Now there are vocabulary resources!
Dictionary: First of all, to learn vocabulary, you need a good dictionary that covers high-level GRE words. The three dictionaries named are: Merriam Webster, dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com.
